UN World Economic Situation and Prospects (WESP) report -2018
v India’s economy is projected to grow 7.6% in fiscal year 2018-19 and 7.5% for FY 18. 
Free treatment scheme
v The Gujarat government will launch free treatment scheme for the road accident victims.
v Under this scheme, the state government will bear medical expenses of up to Rs 50,000 for each victim of road accident in the state for the first 48 hours.

v Shivangi Pathak (16) has become the India’s youngest women to scale Mt Everest from Nepal side.
